Clear skies welcomed the 20175 spectators who had made their way to
jo-jo-viola stadium.
Lucas Burger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lasse Bredal Nielsen and
Ronny Bonk.
jo-jo-viola tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Erode - Matthijssen, Nielson, Trautner - Santoliquido, Gojković, Ollas, Kirschenhofer, Göransson - Coperchio, Bertoldi.
Pressing started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
Lineup: Monchique - Andreazza, Verbruggen, Riezebos - Urtazun, Omar, Massaroni, Paraska - Frontaurea, Simion, Antonucci.
jo-jo-viola were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
Pressing tried to focus their attacks down the middle.
After 2 minutes, Pressing's
T. Paraska made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
After 21 minutes, Pressing's
F. Frontaurea burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2.
P. Antonucci received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 26 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Pressing fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
After this, you could see that the players of Pressing were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
A well placed corner kick from
T. Paraska was followed by
F. Frontaurea's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Pressing, the score now 0 - 4.
After 42 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
P. Verbruggen to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5.
A marvellous jo-jo-viola effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 43 minutes by
H. Göransson, making the score 1 - 5.
1 - 5 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to jo-jo-viola, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.
M. Bertoldi challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 67 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it.

S. Gojković had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 79 minutes having been played.
B. Czesnowski was the replacement.

G. Coperchio excelled in some fine tricks that completely confused
M. Massaroni - and the finish was no less spectacular - 2 - 5!
J. Riezebos was, after 82 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper
C. Erode made the save.
After 88 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
J. Riezebos a chance to increase the lead for Pressing, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 6.
The referee showed jo-jo-viola's
D. Matthijssen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by jo-jo-viola, with 51 percent of the ball.
F. Kirschenhofer performed admirably for jo-jo-viola.
F. Santoliquido was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating Pressing player was without a doubt
F. Frontaurea.
M. Massaroni turned in a dismal performance, however.
