A scorching day at
F.C STARGATE Stadium, where 18087 spectators were in place for today's match.
STARGATE tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Martinez - Mantle, Špakevičius - Opris, Teittinen, Alf, Prins, Bourhis - Guchmazovi, Kleftokotidis, Kühnel.

STARGATE clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
Stars seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
T. Bourhis almost seemed to dance around
F. Cosyns, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for STARGATE, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post.
The sun seemed to put
T. Bourhis in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
E. Guchmazovi, but the STARGATE player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
STARGATE's
A. Teittinen increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 20 minutes.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in STARGATE's
E. Guchmazovi increasing the lead to 3 - 0.
N. Opris dispatched a majestic long shot 29 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres.
Halftime score was 3 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to STARGATE, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.
Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Stars manager used a brief break in play after 46 minutes to give the players new directives.

STARGATE were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.

Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
A. Collaro of Stars spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 79 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving
S. Caballero completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper.
STARGATE enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.
The most dominating STARGATE player was without a doubt
N. Kleftokotidis.
T. Bourhis on the other hand, had a terrible day.
A. Arnaldes performed admirably for Stars.
However,
D. Smabers made a disastrous appearance.
