Baiano elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. N. Carmeli increased the lead for MMSarego to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At this point, it was obvious that the players of MMSarego lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 33 minutes, F. Kupczyński put MMSarego ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. With 34 minutes played, MMSarego's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to A. Lisbach he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 4 - 0. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to MMSarego, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

Things were going to get worse for the visitors. F. Coda squirmed through their central defence after 52 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as P. Sánchez Patierna broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to MMSarego. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, P. Sánchez Patierna got himself booked. The manager of MMSarego was not happy. After 65 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by M. Ascani might have resulted in another goal for MMSarego. However, S. Blin made a spectacular save. After 71 minutes, MMSarego sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached F. Coda, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 7 - 0. MMSarego had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

The most dominating MMSarego player was without a doubt N. Carmeli. G. Ferrer on the other hand, had a terrible day. castelnovese's top performer was clearly R. Rosi. W. Sokół turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
