10 minutes into the game, BAKUGAN's J. van Geffelen missed an opportunity to score the leading goal from a penalty when he delivered the shot straight into the keeper's hands. Some great play up the middle by Real led to a chance for G. Pecetti to score after 19 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, É. Buße got himself booked. The manager of BAKUGAN was not happy. They were singing the praises of E. Fitas 28 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Real. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Real, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Ö. Özsözlü squirmed through their central defence after 54 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. The referee showed Real's M. Del Sal the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 85 minutes Real's D. Darocha limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Real increased the lead as R. Jones struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. After this, you could see that the players of Real were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Real enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
