Stars's T. Matanov was shown a yellow card after 75 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 77 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from G. Drazzi, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, N. Molini got himself booked. The manager of Sotal was not happy. Sotal's V. Serreli got himself booked for a foul. After 83 minutes, G. Tardini put Sotal ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Sotal lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Possession in this half belonged to Sotal, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Sotal's best player was F. Bergianti. E. Quadrio Aristarchi on the other hand, had a terrible day. A. Foppa performed admirably for Stars. E. Baldo was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
