By now, the players in Usap felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Usap solidified their lead at the 30 minute mark, as A. Fiumara dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Usap, with 63 percent of the ball.

E. Berko increased the lead for Usap to 5 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! It was obvious that team Usap had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. E. Civerra could have increased the lead after 61 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 64 minutes, F. Balsbach chose the right corner while taking his penalty, humiliating the home keeper, who dived in the wrong direction. The goal reduced the home lead to 5 - 1. Cheers filled the stadium as E. Berko broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 1 to Usap. After 75 minutes, Usap sent a free kick in high over the penalty box.
