Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 22547 at Endasborgo F.C. Arena today. Rareş Budur was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Joni Lindahl and Salvatore Kessinger. Betancourt from Endasborgo a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 24 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 25 minutes, Endasborgo did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, V. Betancourt was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 0. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Endasborgo's M. Omoforte increasing the lead to 3 - 0. In a rapid move 38 minutes into the match, L. Newman of PallinaBrillante lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked T. Andersson who easily hit it home to make it 3 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Endasborgo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

R. Lippenberger left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. M. Godelotte was the replacement. M. Godelotte was handed the Endasborgo captain's armband. M. Omoforte wanted to play on, but the Endasborgo coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by C. Boitani. Some things can only be learned through experience, and J. Modelewski should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting PallinaBrillante a goal with 54 minutes of the match played. L. Barrett could have increased the lead after 55 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. J. Modelewski squirmed through their central defence after 71 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 1.
