The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 24625 had shown up at Delle Piccole Dolomiti "Silvio Schaeren" for the match. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Ronchi scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for S. Baptiste after 26 minutes. Ronchi's R. Rogne increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 27 minutes. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; P. Navarro made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 1 28 minutes into the match. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Ronchi, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

After 74 minutes, F. Spagnolli put Ronchi ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Ronchi's E. Thieblemont had an excellent opportunity after 79 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
