20500 spectators arrived at Stadio Famila, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. José Liano gave Cerza the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 With 37 minutes played, Cerza put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to S. van Tiggelen, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Cerza's W. Haloedea increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 41 minutes. Confident in their lead, Cerza's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 43 minutes Baader-Meinhof's D. Gamber limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Cerza scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for L. De marigny after 44 minutes. After 44 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and B. Panunzio gave the Cerza supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0. The referee showed Cerza's W. Haloedea the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Baader-Meinhof were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. 44 minutes into the game, Baader-Meinhof's attack got through on the right, but V. Santamaria couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. C. Ivănescu of Cerza was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Halftime score was 5 - 0. Cerza claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

With 66 minutes played, Cerza's B. Panunzio almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Baader-Meinhof's M. Romanato was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 70 minutes. The home side failed to add to their score as S. van Tiggelen shot a penalty wide after 73 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as L. De marigny broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to Cerza. After 79 minutes, V. Giacomoni put Cerza ahead 7 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cerza, with 65 percent of the ball.

C. Ivănescu performed admirably for Cerza. V. Giacomoni turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Baader-Meinhof player was without a doubt M. Romanato. However, P. Guidoni made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 0.
