Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 23600 at Postamt Garbatella Arena today. Harm den Hertog was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Antonio De la Mota and Stefan Bãleanu. Garbatella decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. Garbatella seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. The wings were the focus of most of Unforgiven's attacks today. Unforgiven had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. 17 minutes into the match, Unforgiven nearly took the lead, as V. Pérez broke through on the right. S. Cioffi made the save, however. 27 minutes into the game, A. Garnier had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Z. Soral.
