Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 18165 to
Arena del Colosseo.

Red made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
D. Lazzara completely alone with keeper
D. Bertè, who made a spectacular block.
Tarentum's
A. Ougier had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 34 minutes having been played.
A. Monte was the replacement.
Tarentum were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 41 minutes into the match, but

B. Schubot surprised everyone as he managed to intercept a pass intended for the opposing keeper and flip it in, making the score 0 - 1.
D. Castronovo was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Red with a strike from the left, but
D. Bertè managed to ward the shot off for a corner.

G. Granata performed admirably for Red.
On the other hand,
J. Metz's play was disheartening.
Tarentum's top performer was clearly
L. Calda.
A. Monte turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 0 - 1.
