21-07-2012 12.50
The 13838 spectators at
KrInter Park were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Dutu Puscas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Etienne Heersema and
Otto Fleschuetz.
KrInter had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Celestini - Cubo, Marinangeli, Hâldan, Sosin - Pühl, Tahsin, Bascuñan, Monasterios - Villasana, Krautmann.
Integrale tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
Lineup: Casali - Cirrotti, Mugnai, Cambeo - Tafazzi, Stemler, Lelas, Massenzio - Montaruli, Marocco, Tota.
Integrale saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
KrInter took the lead after 6 minutes as a result of
A. Cubo's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0.
KrInter put themselves up 2 - 0 when
H. Monasterios broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
KrInter's
J. Bascuñan left the field after 25 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
S. Cabana de Bergantiños.
The corner kick from
M. Villasana was powerfully met by the head of
H. Monasterios to make the score 3 - 0.
The crowd gasped as
N. Tota of Integrale was flattened by an opponent after 27 minutes and had to be carried off.
A. Ruzzi came in off the bench.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of KrInter to 4 - 0 as
F. Krautmann finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
By now, the players in KrInter felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
4 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to KrInter, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.
As the match clock hit 51 minutes, KrInter regrouped to try and keep their initiative in the game.
M. Villasana high-fived
F. Krautmann as they swapped positions on the team.
While defending the KrInter lead,
H. Monasterios got a new role. 52 minutes in the game, his coach ordered him to change positions with
S. Cabana de Bergantiños.
M. Villasana enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
H. Monasterios from KrInter a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 80 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
KrInter's
F. Krautmann saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 87 minutes.
KrInter increased the lead as
M. Villasana struck to make the score 5 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
With 88 minutes played,
A. Ruzzi of Integrale fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
As usual,
I. Tafazzi tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by KrInter, with 66 percent of the ball.
Most important KrInter player was
A. Cubo.
S. Cabana de Bergantiños was a disappointment, however.
Integrale's top performer was clearly
M. Montaruli.
However,
M. Cambeo made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 5 - 0.
