(381947718)

30-06-2012 12.50
The crowd of 5997 turning up at
Quintus Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain.
Adrien Chalon was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ernesto Teixeira and
Alessandro Del Piero.
Cinto decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
They fielded: Tubex - Cellai, Bitonti, Escoffier - Monari, Artusi, Mandia, Patrucco - Nicolaci, Tortelli, Minicozzi.
N-ONE had chosen a strategic 3-4-2 formation.
Starters: Cabañero - Elefante, Veér, Hiernaux - Saggioro, Mac Kay, De Pascale, Özşah - Bjørvik, Sánchez.
Cinto preferred to finish off their attacks from a distance.
The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but
C. Minicozzi showed great heart and had a good game.
31 minutes into the game, Cinto seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
passable.
It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by
C. Minicozzi after 40 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. Cinto takes the lead, 1 - 0!
F. Patrucco spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch.
After 44 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as N-ONE found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
inadequate.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
F. Patrucco got himself booked. The manager of Cinto was not happy.
1 - 0 was the score after the first half.
N-ONE had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.
A review of the gameplan helped Cinto get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that N-ONE had
solid organisation.
Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as N-ONE's
T. Mac Kay put the ball in the onion bag after 50 minutes to make it 1 - 1.
67 minutes in, Cinto's
T. Tortelli received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
The terraces were silenced after 69 minutes when N-ONE's
I. Hiernaux put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right.
No matter how hard he tried,
T. Tortelli just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 75 minutes.
Cinto needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes
A. Nicolaci made way for
A. Zappitelli.
84 minutes into the game, N-ONE had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
G. Veér was, after 85 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper
E. Tubex made the save.
N-ONE claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.
Most important Cinto player was
L. Cellai.
However,
A. Escoffier made a disastrous appearance.
T. Mac Kay performed admirably for N-ONE.
C. Cabañero turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 2.
