Clear skies welcomed the 9297 spectators who had made their way to Arenile. Indrek Reismaa was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Leon Lønbæk and Jan Läfholt. Sebastião alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Capelloni were able to mount several counterattacks, such as the impressive one after 24 minutes, but C. Anzalone lofted a free kick over the crossbar. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Cogitandum enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Cogitandum's D. Zöller tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Capelloni's G. Stefanutti left the field after 77 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was H. Larbanois. T. Brenkenhoff received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 86 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. S. Kazantzopoulos caused mayhem in his own defensive line with some mad dribbles within his own penalty zone, but Cogitandum's D. Zöller's shot went just wide. After a fine move down the middle J. Rättich nearly gave the home side a goal after 89 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

Most important Cogitandum player was M. Guilizzoni. On the other hand, T. Brenkenhoff's play was disheartening. The most dominating Capelloni player was without a doubt J. Kervinen. V. Marmora was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 0.
