TAH 1 - 2 guccio
(381961341)

28-07-2012 12.50
10085 spectators had found their way to
TAH TAH camp, despite the heavy rain.
Mariano Cameroni was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Heiko Büchner and
Menno Tholen.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Emilia Romagna derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
TAH decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Quiroga - Nezaket, Minichberger, Mazzitelli, Ross - Pitsoulakis, Maltese, Hoefnagels, Paffarini - van Wieren, Vía.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for guccio.
Starters: Balbetti - Menabue, Itätalo, Da Pos - Pioggia, Andretta, D'Errico, Ruggerone, Vitalone - Sabatino, Pasin.
TAH took a creative approach on the field.
One of many good crosses from
R. Pioggia on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by
M. Sabatino, who scored for guccio. 0 - 1
M. Sabatino was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace.
With 34 minutes played,
N. Andretta nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar.
With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 39 minutes played,
M. Vía of TAH made the score 1 - 1.
The visiting
M. Sabatino was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 42 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score.
1 - 2 was the halftime score.
guccio had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
56 minutes into the game, guccio worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch.
The bench was restless, and with 67 minutes passed TAH's coach gave
G. Perucchini the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
M. Vía reluctantly left the field.
The visitors almost increased their lead after 68 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar.
After 70 minutes,
K. van Wieren got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away.
With 71 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
P. D'Errico needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
P. Ruggerone would have put guccio up another goal 82 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
Possession in this half belonged to guccio, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.
The most dominating TAH player was without a doubt
K. van Wieren.
On the other hand,
A. Maltese's play was disheartening.
guccio's top performer was clearly
V. Balbetti.
P. Itätalo turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 2.
