Due to an all-day shower, 9281 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Trancia Femori Haze. Stefano Petrelli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kristian Peurajärvi and Eliran Keren. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Ercolina. They fielded: Câmpean - Auble, Berliner - Gastaldello, Popov, Östlius, Chareyre, Örfi - Ospennikov, Collura, van Tijsterkamp.

The wings were the focus of most of sp.H's attacks today. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 19 minutes allowed V. Collura to score for Ercolina. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. After 24 minutes, Ercolina raised their score by one when Ç. Örfi's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by M. Gastaldello. 0 - 2. Confident in their lead, Ercolina's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 32 minutes into the game, Ercolina worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. A. Ospennikov of Ercolina took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 35 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ercolina, with 62 percent of the ball.

P. Östlius left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. E. Schlatter was the replacement. The Ercolina captaincy was handed to É. Auble. 48 minutes had been played and the home team was awarded a penalty. The guests' keeper dived the right way, but E. Piñel Ceballos was still able to reduce the score to 1 - 3. 49 minutes into the match, R. van Tijsterkamp came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. At 57 minutes into the game, sp.H's E. Diel deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 3. After 58 minutes, Ercolina's M. Berliner fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! É. Auble wanted to play on, but the Ercolina coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by E. Zuckerman. E. Zuckerman became the new Ercolina captain. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from M. Gastaldello after 64 minutes, and prevented Ercolina from going up another goal. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but R. van Tijsterkamp showed great heart and had a good game. Ercolina enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

sp.H's best player was E. Piñel Ceballos. W. Miązek turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Ercolina player was without a doubt R. van Tijsterkamp. M. Berliner was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
