Barile finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. There was concern in the stands when, at the 39 minute mark, Germano's F. Rinaldo hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. The visitors almost increased their lead after 40 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. Filgame increased their lead after 42 minutes when M. Contini broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. By now, the players in Filgame felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 44 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed I. Pittalis to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Filgame claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 77 percent.

The Filgame players could smell victory in the air. E. Piazzo wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for N. Scalia after 46 minutes. I. Pittalis was the new captain of Filgame - handed the armband by the departing player. The coach of Filgame was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, F. Re came on for M. Contini. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Filgame coach let R. Gandolfo replace C. Barile after 46 minutes. R. Gandolfo came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over A. Grande but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. With 60 minutes played, Filgame put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was I. Pittalis. The visitors' N. Scalia took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 62 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Filgame. 64 minutes in, Germano's T. Iovenitti received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 76 minutes, Filgame's N. Scalia burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. I. Pittalis received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 77 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 8. The Filgame fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for I. Pittalis. Filgame enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 81 percent of possession.

E. Terrosi performed admirably for Germano. R. Busato on the other hand, had a terrible day. Filgame's best player was I. Pittalis. R. Gandolfo was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
