The crowd chanted their encouragement as ventola's S. Afshari Rad came in from the right after 39 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. After 42 minutes, ventola sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached S. Afshari Rad, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 1. ventola's A. Komarnicki somehow missed a penalty 44 minutes into the match, much to the crowd's displeasure. Halftime score was 2 - 1. ventola enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

N. Raffanelli came close to levelling the score 52 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. ventola's T. Farrell was shown a yellow card after 81 minutes for slicing down an opponent. In a fantastic display of determination, Project's L. Fin forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. T. Bigas could have put ventola up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 83 minutes. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in ventola's A. Komarnicki increasing the lead to 3 - 1. The visitors got one back when L. Ferlenga finished off a pass from the left and scored after 86 minutes. 3 - 2 was the score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ventola, with 60 percent of the ball.

Most important ventola player was A. Komarnicki. However, T. Bigas made a disastrous appearance. B. Serbelloni performed admirably for Project. On the other hand, S. Manfio's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
