The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at The Brakes Arena for the match. Bohuš Pícha was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Cor Hoogerheide and Matěj Pudil. Brakes saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Today, ACILIAS's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. The visiting L. Büscher was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 7 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. The home crowd was not impressed when T. Moulart came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 19 minutes. ACILIAS were now up 0 - 2. The visitors nearly scored again after 23 minutes, but a superb save by K. Syrén kept C. Burbach's free kick out of the net. After 35 minutes ACILIAS's A. Luca limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. ACILIAS had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. With 40 minutes played, ACILIAS put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was F. Palmese. After this, you could see that the players of ACILIAS were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 42 minutes, Brakes's K. Bąbol surprised everyone as he managed to intercept a pass intended for the opposing keeper and flip it in, making the score 1 - 3. Some fine movement on the left led to a ACILIAS goal after 43 minutes, making it 1 - 4. M. Bragone was noted down as the scorer. It was obvious that ACILIAS had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. ACILIAS came close to extending their lead as F. Apicella delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 44 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. It was 1 - 4 at the break. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

S. Bonnewit left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 55 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Gutiérrez was the replacement. 72 minutes into the match, J. Kokoszkiewicz came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Kokoszkiewicz from ACILIAS a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 81 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Brakes's G. De Bacco got himself booked for a foul. In a fantastic display of determination, ACILIAS's M. Bragone forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Players in ACILIAS heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, F. Apicella would have put ACILIAS up another goal 84 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Brakes were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After 88 minutes O. Serametakis could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. ACILIAS caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 89 minutes into the match. J. Kokoszkiewicz was able to finish off the move - 1 - 5. Brakes had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

K. Bąbol performed admirably for Brakes. A. Röyhkiö turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating ACILIAS player was without a doubt J. Kokoszkiewicz. G. Moca was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 5.
