Eddygaloppo Stadium were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Junior Ball was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Francis Nuzillard and
Ärni Lill.
People from all over
Marche had joined up for the derby.
A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Nunziochiprum.

Monvalle were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 20 minutes into the match, but
M. Paccottelli narrowly missed the free kick attempt that was awarded as a result of a foul.
21 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
I. Gravesen broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Nunziochiprum.
After 29 minutes,
I. Gravesen put Nunziochiprum ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
By now, the players in Nunziochiprum felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
Monvalle's
C. Corredor got himself booked for a foul.
I. Gravesen could have put Nunziochiprum up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 39 minutes.

The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
F. Livoti from Nunziochiprum a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 60 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
J. Bandiera showed his inexperience when he failed to anticipate the bounce of a high ball, allowing Nunziochiprum's
B. Allegretti to take advantage and place a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. 4 - 0.
With 76 minutes played, Nunziochiprum's
I. Gravesen almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
A late sliding challenge from
C. Corredor was deemed to be his second yellow card offence by the referee, resulting in him being sent off, and Monvalle left a man down.
Possession in this half belonged to Nunziochiprum, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
Nunziochiprum's best player was
F. Livoti.
G. Chiaranti was a disappointment, however.
Most important Monvalle player was
