The wings were the focus of most of LampoGiallo's attacks today. MAGICFEST mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. LampoGiallo could have put themselves ahead after 20 minutes but F. Gandino missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Making his way up the middle 34 minutes into the match, P. Deleu almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert M. Piętal blocked it to keep the score level. LampoGiallo's E. Solano was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 39 minutes of play, S. Konopík gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. The referee showed MAGICFEST's S. Toivanen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 41 minutes, F. Gandino put LampoGiallo ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. LampoGiallo's M. Bešević struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 0 after 43 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to LampoGiallo, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

The coach of LampoGiallo was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, L. Wakelam came on for S. Tschäppät. The LampoGiallo players could smell victory in the air. E. Solano wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for D. Fernet after 55 minutes. LampoGiallo solidified their lead at the 61 minute mark, as F. Gandino dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. Confident in their lead, LampoGiallo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. A. Bulks left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. C. Giosi was the replacement. MAGICFEST were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 75 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to L. Baxauli, who smashed it home to make the score 4 - 1. With 76 minutes played, LampoGiallo put themselves up 5 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to F. Gandino, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for F. Gandino. A. Castro of LampoGiallo received a yellow card after 78 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A bit later, MAGICFEST's K. Søe easily reduced the lead to 5 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. LampoGiallo had no available replacements when L. Wakelam had to leave the game after 86 minutes because of a pulled tendon, leaving the team a man short. E. Santorsola had a fantastic opportunity to put LampoGiallo up another goal 88 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by A. Castro rendered him his second booking of the match, and LampoGiallo had to finish the game with a reduced squad. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by LampoGiallo, with 52 percent of the ball.
