Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 21521 to Stadio Kar Grande. Guga Bade was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kurt Bøgild and Klaus Kureth. Tiranno had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Cuzzo - Misiti, Salvoni, Vanoschi, Ronconi - Malnati, Fasanotti, Gufo, Lorandi - Coa, Colombini.

SMK FC took the lead 2 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as D. Arrufat elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Tiranno's G. Gufo was shown a yellow card after 22 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Tiranno's N. Cuzzo had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 31 minutes having been played. V. Santigli was the replacement. SMK FC solidified their lead at the 35 minute mark, as A. Guerry dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as SMK FC scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for G. Tolloi after 38 minutes. At this point, it was obvious that the players of SMK FC lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. SMK FC's A. Guerry increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 41 minutes. After 43 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and S. Rufo gave the SMK FC supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0. It was 5 - 0 at the break. SMK FC enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.

Cheers filled the stadium as J. Carvalho Santos broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to SMK FC. With 52 minutes played, SMK FC put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Koncewicz, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A. Guerry increased the lead for SMK FC to 8 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At that, A. Guerry was noted down for a hat trick! SMK FC put themselves up 9 - 0 when J. Carvalho Santos broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. van Aalderen from SMK FC a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 84 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! G. Lorandi's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Tiranno, he bravely continued in the match. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in SMK FC's M. van Aalderen increasing the lead to 10 - 0. SMK FC had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

SMK FC's best player was D. Enkvist. J. Peniche on the other hand, had a terrible day. G. Gufo performed admirably for Tiranno. F. Salvoni turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 10 - 0.
