At this point, it was obvious that the players of vita82 lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. E. La Penna of vita82 took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 26 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 5. It was 0 - 5 at the break. vita82 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 82 percent of possession.

After 48 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed W. Demortier to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 6. With 52 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed J. Olgiati of vita82 to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 7. vita82's J. Olgiati left the field after 61 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was M. Bertrand. 65 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 8 as N. Schietecatte finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The vita82 players could smell victory in the air. W. Demortier wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. van der Graft after 66 minutes. There was concern in the stands when, at the 74 minute mark, litri's F. Trotti hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. G. Kreindl-Toegel was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 81 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. vita82 had most of the ball, with 87 percent of possession.

G. Brizzante performed admirably for litri. On the other hand, D. Vellucci's play was disheartening. vita82's best player was R. Pandelică. A. Ayetxu was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
