The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 9972 had shown up at MaliBumBum Arena for the match. The wings were the focus of most of MaliBumBum's attacks today. With 7 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by MaliBumBum's B. Enrici reached R. Cutolo's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 1 - 0. With 13 minutes played, MaliBumBum put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Latragna, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A bit later, dedalo's N. Maioli easily reduced the lead to 2 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. MaliBumBum had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. B. Enrici increased the lead for MaliBumBum to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The corner kick from P. Maffione was powerfully met by the head of R. Cutolo to make the score 4 - 1. The players of MaliBumBum now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. MaliBumBum were given a free kick 24 minutes into the game, just after a swift counter attack broke down. Rather than shooting straight at goal, it was directed at the area just in front of the keeper. The attackers made several runs and made it hard for the defenders to protect their goal. After a short tussle with a defender, J. Gooris could finally lay the ball to rest behind the keeper. 5 - 1, and proof it can pay off to come prepared. O. Atodiresei had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper G. Giosi was simply unbeatable. Halftime score was 5 - 1. dedalo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

A. Petretta received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 58 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. The home crowd just couldn't believe it when P. Maffione missed a penalty after 75 minutes of the match. With 80 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, dedalo showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 5 - 2 when N. Maioli got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. dedalo's S. Malandrino seemed to stun everyone on the field with an accurate shot that seemed to come from nowhere. Somehow, the keeper managed to keep his cool and made a fantastic save. M. Latragna of MaliBumBum received a yellow card after 83 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. dedalo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

The most dominating MaliBumBum player was without a doubt R. Cutolo. G. Matta turned in a dismal performance, however. dedalo's top performer was clearly P. Carella. However, G. Molteni made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 2.
