5016 fans braved the pouring rain at AlbertoBraglia. Mats Börjesson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Italo Trombone and Jędrzej Sobaś. SoloModena tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Bienaimé - Lisanti, Pırıltı, Zsákai, Mişca - Romanello, Baetzel, Francisco, Baleiro - Bigiarelli, 综龙 (Zonglong).

A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Power. The following players took the field: Negrini - Thomander, Laue Friis, Bjerck - Janhuba, Zdenovec, Thomas, Martinet - Erpel, Piessnegger, Lagonegro.

Power were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. After 23 minutes, Power put themselves up 0 - 1, as A. Thomander finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. A. Baleiro made a superb strike after 24 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. SoloModena's E. Bigiarelli made a successful breakthrough on the left after 28 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. S. Baetzel behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 29 minutes as he gave the ball away to Y. Thomas. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 34 minutes into the match. J. Martinet surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. L. Succi was called on to replace Power's V. Janhuba after 35 minutes following a nasty collision. Power's J. Martinet was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - B. Lagonegro managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 2 after 36 minutes. It was obvious that Power had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. 39 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as K. Bjerck finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. 41 minutes in, SoloModena's E. Francisco received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Power, with 54 percent of the ball.

Attacking on the wings was the choice for Power, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. After 50 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed P. Erpel to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. The players of Power now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The visitors added to their lead 69 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Power's J. Martinet slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 5. The coach of Power was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes, A. Goranov came on for P. Erpel. SoloModena's E. Bigiarelli left the field after 70 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was G. Santonocito. After the ball was lifted in from the left, B. Lagonegro was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 76 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Power claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

The most dominating SoloModena player was without a doubt G. Santonocito. M. Bienaimé was a disappointment, however. Most important Power player was J. Piessnegger. A. Goranov on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
