Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 6399 at
Philip Morris Club Arena today.
Nico Holliger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Pere Segarra and
Alfons Feistmantl.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Philip.

G. Tartagni almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
7 minutes into the game,
E. Stracciari had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 11 minutes into the match left atlatic's
E. Stracciari completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
U. Benincasa came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
N. Cerulli but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
atlatic increased their lead after 22 minutes when
G. Carloni broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay.

V. Pizzirusso had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
N. Cerulli was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
V. Pizzirusso from atlatic a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Philip's
D. Caiuli went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention.
The referee showed Philip's
D. Campanella the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
After 88 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed

At this point, it was obvious that the players of atlatic lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.

The most dominating Philip player was without a doubt
E. Roga.
N. Cerulli on the other hand, had a terrible day.

E. Stracciari.
C. Pifferi was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 0 - 3.
