Colace struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Black, with 51 percent of the ball.

Given a free kick close to the byline, Black tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let M. Perazzino slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 1, 52 minutes into the game. A penalty 77 minutes into the game gave the home side a chance at adding to the score, but an overconfident L. Mazzamurro shot the ball wide trying to put it away in the top corner. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Black scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for C. Tamagnini after 79 minutes. A bit later, sopi's S. Colace easily reduced the lead to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Black put themselves up 4 - 2 when R. Della Morte broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The players of Black now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 87 minutes, S. Olla replied with a fantastic free kick and the ball went in off the bar. 4 - 3. C. Tamagnini should probably have put his team up another goal after 89 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by G. Filipovic Ricci kept the visitors in the game. Possession in this half belonged to Black, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Black's best player was V. Paolillo. U. Castignoli on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important sopi player was E. Lione. G. Filipovic Ricci turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 3.
