Žuanić reluctantly made way for J. Gatter on the pitch. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile G. Nasti. A. Zaffonato would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. M. Abalyaev entered the game for Lokomotiv as the match clock showed 40 minutes. G. Nasti gave Inazuma-Eleven the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1 Inazuma-Eleven solidified their lead at the 42 minute mark, as F. Robert dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Lokomotiv, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

47 minutes in, C. Patricelli made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but J. Reboul refused to let the ball slip by him. Zini wanted to play on, but the Inazuma-Eleven coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 65 minutes into the game by V. Pentassuglia. Lokomotiv kept trying to force their way through on the right side and F. Soro got his chance after 70 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. F. Eitzen squirmed through their central defence after 71 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 1. Inazuma-Eleven had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Inazuma-Eleven's best player was G. Nasti. M. Jungen turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Lokomotiv player was J. Gatter. G. Farigu was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
