Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 4178 at Sant Mary Fbc Arena today. Marinho Jr. limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. O. Gülenay received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 28 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The lvt fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

Some fine movement on the left led to a lvt goal after 49 minutes, making it 0 - 3. F. Naboni was noted down as the scorer. The players of lvt now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 55 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as O. Gülenay finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Sant will have to do without D. Lanciato for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 87 minute mark.
