Dark skies made the crowd of 3047 at Black Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Gerald Brommer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kelvin Sombroek and Owen MacGillonie. badabum decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Lineup: Scheraggi - Cimato, Manigrasso, La Malfa, Bigioni - Cattaneo, Sattori, Bucovaz, Foppa - Sbardella, Ferrari.

Some great play up the middle by Black led to a chance for M. Mastrolia to score after 26 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After 35 minutes of play, N. Cicerone gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Black's H. Hoffmann increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 39 minutes. Black's B. Renna was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 40 minutes. badabum's M. Sbardella had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 41 minutes having been played. F. Leocadia was the replacement. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Black's B. Renna increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Confident in their lead, Black's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 44 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as G. Kachelski broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Black. badabum will have to do without D. Manigrasso for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 44 minute mark. He was substituted by S. Perosa. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Black had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.

M. Mastrolia had a fantastic opportunity to put Black up another goal 51 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Cimato from badabum a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 53 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! B. Renna hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Black's N. Ganassali an easy chance to knock it in for 5 - 0. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. G. Kachelski squirmed through their central defence after 62 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0. Black put themselves up 7 - 0 when G. Cirinnà broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 64 minutes played, Black put themselves up 8 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to B. Renna, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 69 minutes, N. Cicerone put Black ahead 9 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Black's S. Barla set up a perfect opportunity for G. Kachelski, but the latter failed to score. Black enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.

The most dominating Black player was without a doubt B. Renna. B. Petitfrère was a disappointment, however. F. Leocadia performed admirably for badabum. S. Perosa on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 9 - 0.
