Clouds darkened the skies at Zen as 4330 spectators turned up for the match. Ödön Takó was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Stephan Wieländer and José Luis Atarés. For their match strategy, Pallon had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Dancehall clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Pallon's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 14 minutes gone, but D. Ñañez's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Dancehall's G. Kampker was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 28 minutes. 31 minutes into the game, N. Sundet finished off a Pallon left wing counterattack, making the score 1 - 0. G. Bertaccini of Pallon was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish M. Sargsyan, which resulted in a goal making the score 2 - 0. 35 minutes into the match, Pallon's G. Bertaccini demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to S. Donvito who chipped it in for 3 - 0. Confident in their lead, Pallon's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Pallon mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 38 minutes, but D. Dach was unable to convert from short range. R. Galejs-Dravnieks behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 39 minutes as he gave the ball away to B. Zinn. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. With 41 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Pallon resulted in a counterattack that set D. Dach free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Dancehall claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

P. Tulonen could have increased the lead after 47 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Dancehall had to make a substitution after 47 minutes. J. Kopra limped off the field and was replaced by F. Turetta. G. Bertaccini wanted to play on, but the Pallon coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 56 minutes into the game by P. Cocilovo. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Dancehall's M. Semeghini was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 63 minutes. P. Gulino was given a chance to change things around. S. Donvito sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from M. Heuer after 67 minutes of play, making the score 4 - 0. After 69 minutes Pallon tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, D. Dach's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Pallon coach let M. Palade replace D. Dach after 70 minutes. The referee showed Dancehall's T. Astray the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Possession in this half belonged to Dancehall, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

Pallon's best player was S. Donvito. N. Sundet was a disappointment, however. Dancehall's top performer was clearly G. Kampker. F. Turetta turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
