Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 10585 to
CIOLLA STADIUM.
Stigbjörn Grenblad was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mika Jutikkala and
Harris Groeneveld.
FRANKY decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Marascio - Pinamonte, Lo Baido, Alaia, Bocco - Luppi, Cauzzi, Giunta, Zelinka - Zolin, Capriolo.
DellAmico started off with a 4-3-3 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Öksüz - Siggaard, Galho, Akse, Kets - Ignácz, Hauche, Indacoechea - Tornatore, Stempniewicz, Danel.
DellAmico displayed their ability to play creatively.
DellAmico's
C. Tornatore has the wonderful ability to create chances out of thin air. 13 minutes into the match he bamboozled a couple of opposition defenders before sending the keeper the wrong way and sidefooting the ball home into an empty net. That totally unexpected burst of flair made it 0 - 1.
Some fine movement on the left led to a DellAmico goal after 23 minutes, making it 0 - 2.
O. Danel was noted down as the scorer.
A drive down the left side allowed
C. Tornatore to get in close and score another goal for DellAmico after 29 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3.
After 30 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
E. Kets a chance to increase the lead for DellAmico, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4.
32 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as
C. Tornatore finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
That made three goals for
C. Tornatore and he was marked down for the hat trick.
After this, you could see that the players of DellAmico were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
The unexpected cross pass from DellAmico's
C. Tornatore after 35 minutes opened up the defence and was received by
S. Ignácz who finished off for 0 - 6.
B. Stempniewicz of DellAmico took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 36 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7.
37 minutes in, FRANKY's
S. Cauzzi received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
Halftime score was 0 - 7.
DellAmico had most of the ball, with 76 percent of possession.
The referee showed FRANKY's
C. Luppi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
S. Cauzzi sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
B. Pinamonte after 73 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 7.
C. Tornatore came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
G. Marascio but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
With 78 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
E. Akse of DellAmico to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 8.
With 79 minutes played,
M. Lo Baido of FRANKY fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
With 80 minutes played, DellAmico put themselves up 1 - 9 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
C. Tornatore.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 82 minutes, DellAmico did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
O. Danel was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 10.
After 88 minutes, DellAmico sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
E. Akse, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 11.
DellAmico enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.
The most dominating FRANKY player was without a doubt
U. Capriolo.
On the other hand,
S. Cauzzi's play was disheartening.
DellAmico's top performer was clearly
C. Tornatore.
A. Öksüz on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 1 - 11.
