The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 5443 had shown up at
A.C. R.D.V. STADIUM for the match.

What ever got into
C. Del Muto, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through his own defence - ending up right in front of Misilmeri's
G. Chilà, who easily put the ball away for 0 - 1 after 27 minutes.
Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for R.D.V., but
G. Sbandi's shot went over the bar.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by R.D.V., with 52 percent of the ball.
R.D.V.'s
L. Mercorella put his head to a high ball coming in from the right after 64 minutes, but the ball went wide.
R. La Malfa got a fingertip on
S. Schimmenti's shot from the left 82 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal.
Misilmeri's
B. Mariucci was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 84 minutes.
Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.
R.D.V.'s top performer was clearly
L. Mercorella.
R. La Malfa turned in a dismal performance, however.
Most important Misilmeri player was
L. Nappo.
However,
F. Casolo made a disastrous appearance.
