Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 5043 at Pollo Arena today. Michelangelo Paolinelli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Flavio Andriolo and Ulrich Schmitz. Statti a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Acqui's C. Santello got himself booked for a foul. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Levzanzisas had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The head of G. Monachino connected with a corner kick after 58 minutes, and the ball ended up with B. Marsetti of Levzanzisas who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 1. A well placed corner kick from L. Bertetto was followed by J. Statti's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Acqui, the score now 1 - 2. Acqui came close to extending their lead as F. Pani delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 66 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Levzanzisas were awarded a penalty with 74 minutes played, and S. Cavarzere made no mistake as he effortlessly slotted the equaliser home. 2 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Levzanzisas, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

Most important Levzanzisas player was M. Stanzani. F. Abbate turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Acqui player was without a doubt A. Lodato. M. Gratti on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 2.
