Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Beograd derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Azdaje. After 29 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by M. Mömmö. After 30 minutes, D. Nešić came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Azdaje the lead. The home team will be cursing W. Mildner for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 2 - 2 after 34 minutes. M. Mišić of Azdaje seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 3 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by I. Budimčević. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Azdaje's I. Budimčević increasing the lead to 4 - 2. 4 - 2 was the halftime score. Azdaje claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, L. Sylaj got himself booked. The manager of Azdaje was not happy. Azdaje's D. Nešić was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 58 minutes. The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed Anhedonia's coach gave L. Holán the opportunity the player had been hoping for. V. Averkin reluctantly left the field. S. Bonde was the new captain of Anhedonia - handed the armband by the departing player. After 60 minutes, Anhedonia used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. With 60 minutes played, the Anhedonia coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Balšić broke through, making the score 5 - 2 for Azdaje. By now, the players in Azdaje felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. L. Sylaj could have increased the lead after 70 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. The home side's M. Bajić came close to extending the lead 71 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but E. Ribeiro managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Azdaje, with 52 percent of the ball.

I. Budimčević performed admirably for Azdaje. D. Nešić turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Anhedonia player was without a doubt M. Mömmö. E. Ribeiro was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 2.
