Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 48109 to Gajbaleo. Armantas Padriačikovas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Henrik Wolf and Edward van Gennip. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Delije. O. Dias Mota couldn't do anything to stop the technically gifted L. Di Pinto as he dodged past on his way to scoring a wonderful goal for NBGdrkadzije - 1 - 0! NBGdrkadzije's M. Rufo increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 22 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as NBGdrkadzije scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for D. Nix after 31 minutes. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of NBGdrkadzije to 4 - 0 as M. Rufo finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Hotzy from NBGdrkadzije a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 34 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Piña was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Delije's N. Milojković had to come off the bench. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to NBGdrkadzije, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

With 63 minutes played, NBGdrkadzije put themselves up 5 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Valero, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 71 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by J. Valero might have resulted in another goal for NBGdrkadzije. However, G. Bajčetić made a spectacular save. Delije almost scored after a swift counterattack 72 minutes into the game, but S. Simeunović put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. M. Rufo had a fantastic opportunity to put NBGdrkadzije up another goal 74 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Delije's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 76 minutes gone, but S. Simeunović's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. M. Rufo should probably have put his team up another goal after 77 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by G. Bajčetić kept the visitors in the game. NBGdrkadzije enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

J. Valero performed admirably for NBGdrkadzije. On the other hand, R. Dévora's play was disheartening. Most important Delije player was S. Simeunović. N. Milojković on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
