Shbaro caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 28 minutes. This gave FKJ the 1 - 0 lead. It was 1 - 0 at the break. FKJ claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of FKJ to 2 - 0 as T. Heinze finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Foggia reduced the lead after 58 minutes to 2 - 1 as N. Peković easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. Foggia had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Foggia's right side looked dangerous 62 minutes in, but S. Panqueva made a good save on S. Amidžić's hard shot to the top corner. With 66 minutes played, FKJ put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to R. Shbaro, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. By now, the players in FKJ felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FKJ, with 58 percent of the ball.

T. Heinze performed admirably for FKJ. L. Hayama turned in a dismal performance, however. Foggia's best player was N. Peković. On the other hand, V. Stojić's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
