Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and MARAKANA saw a crowd turnout of 39841. Ib Clemmensen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hubert-Peter Grzimek and Andrejs Pavlovs. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for CZV. Despuig gave CZV the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Cheers filled the stadium as V. Grigorchuk broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to CZV. After 41 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by C. Tassin might have resulted in another goal for CZV. However, A. Cabarrús made a spectacular save. CZV had to make a substitution after 42 minutes. R. Bes limped off the field and was replaced by J. Szaliński. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of CZV to 3 - 0 as J. Szaliński finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. CZV had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

After 71 minutes FK.VERITAS's G. Mandorlato limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Coming in on the left, M. Kuvvetlioğlu did everything right to get a goal for FK.VERITAS after 76 minutes, but his finishing shot was stabbed clear by the keeper. After 77 minutes, CZV sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached V. Grigorchuk, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 4 - 0. 78 minutes in, G. Palagi made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but L. Galfano refused to let the ball slip by him. CZV claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Most important CZV player was S. Guchmazovi. J. Szaliński was a disappointment, however. FK.VERITAS's top performer was clearly M. Capinha. A. Cabarrús turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
