Clear skies welcomed the 22017 spectators who had made their way to Sven Zwo Arena. BUCKSTON took the lead after 14 minutes making the score 0 - 1. F. Fluegel placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. P. Grygier increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. K. Claerhout's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert P. Grygier was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for BUCKSTON. 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, BUCKSTON's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The home crowd was not impressed when N. Spasov came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 19 minutes. BUCKSTON were now up 0 - 4. A penalty was missed by BUCKSTON's N. Spasov 22 minutes into the match. Probably overconfident, he blasted a hard shot miles outside of the left post. BUCKSTON increased their lead after 32 minutes when N. Spasov broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. Sven didn't give in and with 38 minutes played A. Taşkın was able to make the score 1 - 5 after an attack on the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 5. BUCKSTON enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

With 47 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed P. Grygier of BUCKSTON to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 6. At that, P. Grygier was noted down for a hat trick! The bench was restless, and with 50 minutes passed Sven's coach gave B. Vriend the opportunity the player had been hoping for. E. Hellmonds reluctantly left the field. With 57 minutes played, BUCKSTON put themselves up 1 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was F. Fluegel. After 59 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. Amann who increased BUCKSTON's lead to 1 - 8. Sven needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes A. Agosti made way for L. Kabashi. The BUCKSTON free kick 71 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of O. Hecht, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 9! With 75 minutes played, the Sven coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. V. Cazip came on, A. Dimov had to leave the fray. BUCKSTON increased the lead to 1 - 10 as N. Spasov scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. By then N. Spasov had scored three goals - a hat trick! BUCKSTON's M. Bonadona left the field after 79 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was V. Stoimenov. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by BUCKSTON, with 63 percent of the ball.

Most important Sven player was I. Tzvetkov. However, G. Buhociu made a disastrous appearance. BUCKSTON's best player was F. Fluegel. O. Hecht turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 10.
