It was an obvious ambition of Galactice to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. After 11 minutes of play, J. Samuel gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. A great save by keeper N. Domenech after 13 minutes kept the visitors in the game after J. Faena struck from the left with a real cannonball. 21 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Van Edelare broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Ipsuich. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Ipsuich's S. Jaffer increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Confident in their lead, Ipsuich's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Ipsuich, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

The corner kick from P. Terreri was powerfully met by the head of S. Gać to make the score 3 - 1. Ipsuich put themselves up 4 - 1 when R. Haaf broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Ipsuich were given a gift! Faena did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Ipsuich's J. Pinho Ferreira saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 84 minutes. With 85 minutes played, Ipsuich put themselves up 6 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to S. Cárdenas Peñaranda, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Galactice's J. Zúñiga Acevedo was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 86 minutes. The game was close to savage at times, and Galactice's J. Zúñiga Acevedo received a second yellow card after 87 minutes; his ticket out of the game. S. Cárdenas Peñaranda of Ipsuich had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. D. Chaves came in to finish the match. D. Chaves was the new captain of Ipsuich - handed the armband by the departing player. Ipsuich claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

The most dominating Ipsuich player was without a doubt S. Jaffer. D. Chaves turned in a dismal performance, however. P. Terreri performed admirably for Galactice. I. Bruni on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 1.
