Clear skies welcomed the 57126 spectators who had made their way to
Kosevo Arena.
Rudis Ertelis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Anton Straathof and
Aiolos Kokas.
The derby had been the talk of
Sarajevo all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium.
Sarcity tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Leonetti - Selkić, Bešlagić, Mangin - Spasojević, Smailbašić, Kahriman, Bola, Rul Castaños - Harscher, Andrisević.
Una started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
They fielded: Aanonsen - Sylka, Härö, Drews - Selle, Vefa, Kosilov, Lucio-Villegas, Beyger - Nicosia, Ülkü.

Z. Spasojević tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders.
F. Krunić was called on to replace Una's
G. Aanonsen after 32 minutes following a nasty collision.
Una took the lead 35 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle.
A. Härö was the scorer.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
J. Sylka got himself booked. The manager of Una was not happy.

Z. Spasojević finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Sarcity 37 minutes into the match. 1 - 1.

H. Bešlagić gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
I. Rul Castaños has acquired a talent for predicting the movements of the opposing defence over the years and this almost resulted in a goal 40 minutes into the match.
With 42 minutes played, Sarcity's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
H. Kahriman he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 3 - 1.
The Sarcity coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 42 minutes into the game.
Sarcity had to make a substitution after 43 minutes.
G. Leonetti limped off the field and was replaced by
A. Berberović.
Halftime score was 3 - 1.
Sarcity had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
K. Harscher wanted to play on, but the Sarcity coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by
M. Čikić.
G. Nicosia nearly reduced the lead 52 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by
A. Berberović prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net.
After 70 minutes, Una switched
J. Selle with
R. Cvijić, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
Possession in this half belonged to Sarcity, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.
Most important Sarcity player was
Š. Bola.
However,
A. Berberović made a disastrous appearance.
R. Cvijić performed admirably for Una.
F. Krunić turned in a dismal performance, however.
