Schorndorf had a good opportunity to give FC.Hatinac the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. 15 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for FCF to take the lead after a good cross from the right found V. Bardaro alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. They were singing the praises of F. Heisson 30 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to FCF. V. Tsoukalios could have made it all square after 33 minutes, if only his free kick had been a few inches to the other side of the post. Halftime score was 1 - 0. FC.Hatinac enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed FC.Hatinac's coach gave H. Myllymäki the opportunity the player had been hoping for. C. Wishart reluctantly left the field. The FC.Hatinac coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the FC.Hatinac manager used a brief break in play after 60 minutes to give the players new directives. Tsoukalios who could only look on as the FCF player blasted one home. 3 - 0. 86 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Roztoczyński broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for FCF. Confident in their lead, FCF's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. FC.Hatinac fought on and, after 88 minutes, Z. Radivojević was able to reduce the deficit to 4 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. FC.Hatinac had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating FCF player was without a doubt F. Heisson. C. Mendoza on the other hand, had a terrible day. FC.Hatinac's best player was M. Collandra. V. Tsoukalios was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
