Clear skies welcomed the 44322 spectators who had made their way to ŽFK GRBAVICA Arena. Edmond Miquel was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Charles MacClure and Maciej Siekierka. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for GRBAVICA. Lineup: Cartwright - Ćomor, Micozzi, Rizvić - Smajlbegović, Panza, Čausević, Salata - Fulir, Fernández Magallon, Wäckerli.

I46 were relying on their ability to counter-attack. After 8 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as GRBAVICA found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. A counterattack by I46 after 13 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but U. Prehofer, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. H. Wäckerli caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 32 minutes. This gave GRBAVICA the 1 - 0 lead. GRBAVICA's A. Čausević had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 38 minutes having been played. F. Ribarić was the replacement. 40 minutes in, GRBAVICA appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only poor. S. Enzerink made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. A swift counterattack by I46 resulted in a free kick that A. Caeiro elegantly twisted into the goal - 1 - 1! The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to GRBAVICA, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of GRBAVICA was able to get his message across, and raised GRBAVICA's organisation to passable. After 50 minutes, following yet another great corner, P. Marušík's flick on at the near post reached C. Stefańczyk, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. The terraces were silenced after 50 minutes when I46's K. Soukola put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. With 60 minutes played, the GRBAVICA coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. J. Abat came on, M. Fernández Magallon had to leave the fray. A. Tumpelis was called on to replace GRBAVICA's M. Smajlbegović after 71 minutes following a nasty collision. I46 came close to extending their lead as S. Enzerink delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 77 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. 87 minutes into the game, K. Soukola had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came R. Larock. GRBAVICA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

The most dominating GRBAVICA player was without a doubt D. Fulir. However, A. Tumpelis made a disastrous appearance. I46's top performer was clearly S. Enzerink. R. Larock was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
