The 47658 spectators at
Agaton Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Renze Leblanc was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Hans Erling Jørgensen and
Raúl Narbona.
All of
Zenica was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
Agaton tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Belizón - Stojaković, Skogbeck, Tuluğ - Alvarez, Gazpio, Kerschbaumer, Cuell, Lourenço - Bebak, Windle.
razarac started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
They fielded: Poliński - van Dieren, Anderwald, Bess - Cveklić, Tabaković, Radović, Zeilinger, Ya'akobovitch - Delibegović, Lukačević.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
R. Cveklić.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
R. Cuell got himself booked. The manager of Agaton was not happy.
With 33 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
W. Kerschbaumer flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
R. Cuell should probably have put his team up another goal after 36 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
P. Poliński kept the visitors in the game.
Halftime score was 1 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to Agaton, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.
S. Windle could have put Agaton up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 48 minutes.
50 minutes in, razarac's
O. Delibegović received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
After 52 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
I. Skogbeck might have resulted in another goal for Agaton. However,
P. Poliński made a spectacular save.
The visiting team's
G. Lukačević was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 55 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right.
Usually a powerful player on the field,
C. Lourenço looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun.
Agaton were very close to putting themselves one up after 83 minutes as
M. Gazpio got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide.
They were singing the praises of
S. Windle 86 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 2 - 1 to Agaton.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Agaton, with 58 percent of the ball.
Most important Agaton player was
W. Kerschbaumer.
J. Alvarez turned in a dismal performance, however.
O. Delibegović performed admirably for razarac.
On the other hand,
N. Ya'akobovitch's play was disheartening.
The match ends 2 - 1.
