Street 3 - 0 N.K.
(382672870)

21-07-2012 13.30
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12000 to
Vrapcici.
Gür Delfin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Michele Liguori and
Thomas Rouveyrol.
Street had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
They fielded: Petrović - Salkanović, Alerić, Zećiri, Hadžiđulbić - Vučković, Fabulić, Poturović, Goić - Palić, Pekić.
N.K. decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
Starters: Članjak - Filić, Božović, Mulahmetović, Marić - Aldobašić, Vitulić, Kumro, Botić - Buzov, Duraković.
4 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Street to take the lead after a good cross from the right found
M. Palić alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post.
After 20 minutes, N.K.'s
F. Članjak fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
Street's
M. Pekić tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders.
Street will have to do without
M. Pekić for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 24 minute mark. He was substituted by
E. Korda.
With 26 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
A. Alerić flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
R. Duraković came close to levelling the score 27 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post.
Halftime score was 1 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to Street, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 57 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but
O. Petrović got the best of it, blocking the shot from
R. Duraković.
Street's
E. Korda was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 61 minutes.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Street scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
E. Korda after 62 minutes.
F. Vitulić nearly reduced the lead 63 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by
O. Petrović prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net.
S. Hadžiđulbić knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 3 - 0 after 64 minutes.
The players of Street now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
Street enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
Street's top performer was clearly
E. Korda.
O. Petrović on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating N.K. player was without a doubt
R. Duraković.
F. Članjak turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 0.
