12000 spectators arrived at
Grande Spurs Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Franklin Ortega was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Etienne Luyten and
Denny Hulsker.
Tottenham tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Güneş - Petrov, Kichukov, Pavlov, Balkanski - Tzankov, Panov, Petrovski, Vodenicharski - Penev, Gavrilov.
Everton decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
They fielded: Bosma - Ehscheidt, Brenne, Nájera - Lichtenhäler, Reynoso, Jensen, Robledo, Plavecz - Delarge, Bonaldo.
Everton's
J. Delarge could have put the guests one up after 5 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
S. Güneş was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
0 - 1 was the score with 14 minutes played, after
Á. Reynoso cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Everton.
Tottenham's
S. Güneş refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 26 minutes.
The referee showed Everton's

Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Everton's
T. Lichtenhäler somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
B. Bonaldo, who struck for 0 - 3.
The visitors'
C. Brenne took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 37 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Everton.
After this, you could see that the players of Everton were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.

It was 0 - 5 at the break.

K. Balkanski. The keeper wasn't fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Everton goal after 64 minutes, making it 0 - 6.
T. Lichtenhäler was noted down as the scorer.
With 66 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
Á. Reynoso of Everton to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 7.
After 70 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
J. Delarge who increased Everton's lead to 0 - 8.
After 74 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
T. Lichtenhäler a chance to increase the lead for Everton, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 9.
That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
