Leowsky came close to extending the lead 19 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but P. Genchev managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. The crowd was amused as A. Leowsky of CSKA used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish by D. Grubić wasn't very amusing, however, as the ball flew way over the crossbar. T. Nelli increased the lead for CSKA to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Things were going to get worse for the visitors. K. Malinov squirmed through their central defence after 26 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. With 28 minutes played, D. Kerakov of SmileTeam fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A well placed corner kick from T. Nelli was followed by P. Yosifov's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for CSKA, the score now 4 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as D. Grubić broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to CSKA. The players of CSKA now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 5 - 0 was the score after the first half. CSKA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 86 percent.

After 49 minutes, D. Grubić put CSKA ahead 6 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. After 57 minutes, a long pass from SmileTeam's D. Kerakov caught the defence out of position. V. Uzunov collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 6 - 1. CSKA solidified their lead at the 72 minute mark, as L. Essig dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 1. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave B. Kyosev from SmileTeam a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 81 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 83 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Leowsky broke through, making the score 8 - 1 for CSKA. CSKA's G. Buceti got himself booked for a foul. In a fantastic display of determination, SmileTeam's P. Grozdanov forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in CSKA's L. Essig increasing the lead to 9 - 1. A. Leowsky of CSKA was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 88 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and W. Böcher gave the CSKA supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 10 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to CSKA, who controlled the ball 89 percent of the time.

The most dominating CSKA player was without a doubt W. Böcher. G. Buceti turned in a dismal performance, however. M. Popstoev performed admirably for SmileTeam. On the other hand, P. Genchev's play was disheartening. The match ends 10 - 1.
