(382733274)

21-07-2012 13.20
Dark skies made the crowd of 54851 at
Ribnik a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Andi Scharfmüller was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Teo Gleißner and
Daniel Stoschka.
Kajuhova tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Ariel - De Cianni, Koch-Jägersberg - Valdés, Tenhola, Nahk, Koron, Vogrič - Olteanu, Okoren, Cassan.
Studenci decided to use a 2-5-3 set up.
The following players took the field: Domínguez - Keren, Vičar - Kuba, Nourisson, Melamed, Oge, Valsecchi - Collet, Richardson, Alberti Rovira.
The referee showed Studenci's
K. Kuba the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
The visiting
C. Oge was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 9 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
After 14 minutes Kajuhova's
E. Valdés limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
After a scuffle in the guests' penalty area 15 minutes into the game, the home team was awarded a penalty.
E. Nahk scored to make it 1 - 1.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
D. Alberti Rovira from Studenci a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 26 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
The player down was
E. Olteanu. The Kajuhova bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up.
Studenci's
G. Nourisson managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 38 minutes. 1 - 2.
1 - 2 was the halftime score.
Studenci had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
The crowd was on its feet 47 minutes into the match, as Kajuhova's
J. Tenhola found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 2 - 2 equaliser.
69 minutes into the game,
M. Collet had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
A. Afrazandeh.
The terraces were silenced after 71 minutes when Studenci's
D. Alberti Rovira put the guests ahead 2 - 3, following an attack on the right.
The crowd gasped as
G. Valsecchi of Studenci was flattened by an opponent after 72 minutes and had to be carried off.
M. Chierici came in off the bench.
After 76 minutes,
M. Okoren got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away.
M. Keren of Studenci received a yellow card after 78 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
82 minutes in, Studenci's
M. Melamed received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
The visitors'
M. Keren took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 85 minutes into the match. 2 - 4 for Studenci.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Studenci, with 51 percent of the ball.
J. Koron performed admirably for Kajuhova.
T. Vogrič was a disappointment, however.
Most important Studenci player was
M. Melamed.
On the other hand,
M. Chierici's play was disheartening.
The match ends 2 - 4.
