(382733398)

11-08-2012 13.20
33487 spectators had come to
The Deaf Club this cloudy day.
Gilles Hellec was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Francesco Zwygart and
Ben Schwengeler.
Kennedys decided to use a 4-3-3 set up.
The following players took the field: Zoretič - Dyachuk-Stavitskiy, Loio, Guevara, Blardone - Toiminen, Bernaola, Brickman - Pérès, Landsberger, Pivetta.
FCJ tactics involved an interesting 3-4-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Liber - Stalka, Molini, Begič - Bednik, Mandeljc, Pucko, Preixens - Miloševič, Alesse.
For their match strategy, Kennedys had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
21 minutes into the game, FCJ seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
22 minutes into the game,
S. Miloševič had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
B. Alesse had a good opportunity to give FCJ the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save.
G. Molini got left behind when Kennedys's
J. Pérès made a sudden run forward after 28 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 1 - 0!
The visitors'
B. Alesse was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 37 minutes.
40 minutes in, Kennedys appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
poor.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1.
Possession in this half belonged to FCJ, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.
During the break, Kennedys's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
passable organisation.
A review of the gameplan helped FCJ get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
With 58 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Kennedys resulted in a counterattack that set
T. Toiminen free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save.
J. Pucko of FCJ seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
B. Alesse.
With the scoreboard showing that 77 minutes had been played, FCJ nearly put themselves up another goal after
B. Alesse came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save.
80 minutes into the game, FCJ had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
weak.
B. Alesse came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
B. Zoretič but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
After 87 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Kennedys found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
inadequate.
FCJ had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
Most important Kennedys player was
E. Pivetta.
However,
T. Toiminen made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating FCJ player was without a doubt
S. Miloševič.
R. Bednik turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 2.
