(382737240)

30-06-2012 13.20
Clouds darkened the skies at
Arena center as 40300 spectators turned up for the match.
Per Karlsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vito Morandi and
Rambod Razzaghi.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for NK Krka 09.
The following players took the field: Villalobos - Pach, Dizeo, Moş - Parull, Winde, Dumitriu, Dernič, Balik - Buer, Panero.
Pavla decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Starters: Miklavžina - Jurak, Obruca, Bručan - Černi, Paul, Lahti, Oks, Batalevič - Mondragón, Cucija.
It was an obvious ambition of Pavla to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
5 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but
P. Batalevič, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide.
F. Winde received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 6 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
It was obvious that Pavla had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
A well placed corner kick from
B. Jurak was followed by
A. Černi's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Pavla, the score now 0 - 1.
With 23 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
J. Obruca of Pavla to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
0 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Pavla enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
47 minutes into the game, Pavla were awarded a penalty and
B. Jurak was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post.
After 55 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to NK Krka 09's
L. Villalobos being carried off the pitch and replaced by
A. Sadberk.
After 63 minutes of game time,
M. Lahti had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
A. Sadberk was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
D. Cucija left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
A. Schußmann was the replacement.
A. Mondragón wanted to play on, but the Pavla coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by
E. Užuotas.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
J. Buer got himself booked. The manager of NK Krka 09 was not happy.
Pavla's
J. Obruca left the field after 83 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
A. Balajič.
After 84 minutes, Pavla were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise.
A. Oks did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 84 minute mark, NK Krka 09's
J. Balik hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.
R. Panero performed admirably for NK Krka 09.
On the other hand,
A. Sadberk's play was disheartening.
Most important Pavla player was
M. Bručan.
A. Schußmann turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 0 - 3.
